A fantastic week of learning and collaboration for all as we participated in the national initiative of Children’s Mental Health Week. We took on daily challenges and started each day with a whole school ‘wake up and move’ – dance, yoga, keep fit, brain gym and more.

There was some impressive work going on around the classes. as we learned how important it is to nourish and nurture our mind as well as our bodies. We also had a team from the Dylan Strong Foundation in school, who worked with the children on healthy eating activities, making fruit salads and smoothies for all – delicious too! The week was topped off with a fine assembly to parents and children with Year 4, who even performed a musical mash-up of ‘Under Pressure’ and ‘Ice, Ice, Ice Baby’.
